Thoughts and Words

I am stronger than you think

We all have our moments!

but sometimes these moments remind us of how important it is to always look after ourselves. We as humans are so much stronger than we think.

On a rainy day we comfort ourselves with a hot drink and a warm blanket, a moment of selfish personal well-being. We often tell others that its going to be ok, but rarely do we tell ourselves the same!  It is time for a change! From this moment on, I am going to look after myself much better. I do a stress page on my website and actually am trying to do the things I am writing to others about.

TASK: Each day I am going to…

  1. Write something good about myself in my lovely notebook!
  2. Each WEEK – TRY TO WRITE SOMETHING GOOD, about my life (no matter how small/big) – OR HOW BAD!!!

The Tree of Life, What does it all mean?

The Tree of Life, What does it all mean?

The tree of life is a symbol of a fresh start on life, positive energy, good health and a bright future. a WONDERFUL EVER GIVING environment, filled with beautiful creature, plants etc, growing, helping supporting one another, in an beautiful ecosystem.

As a symbol of immortality. A tree grows old, yet it bears seeds that contain its very essence and in this way, the tree becomes immortal. As a symbol of growth and strength. Continual reproduction.

A little Poem…

You were here, carved on the tree of life.

Fallen leaves still gather around your beautiful fallen roots.

Sounds of musical songs,

lift and carry you further into the forest.

Be free, be forever here,

Live Forever and then give to another

And then roots become seedlings

Giving love and harmony to all the forest again

No City Noise, Just Peace

Find some peace, no matter where you live…

Birmingham Central Canal, in the heart of the city

No City Noise, Just Nature

Sometimes all we need is just a little bit of nature to soothe the soul. A moment of nature, can help rejuvenate your mind and make you think more clearly. Even myself, I live in a busy city. This can cause much stress, when in the rush hour, but a moment in a park, a walk or a visit on transport to a forest can really help you feel better. And then you are ready to take on the world again.

This week I aim to go to more natural spaces, but still love the little gems in Birmingham, such as the Peace Gardens.

My List (Bucket)

Believe and it will happen

Wondering what to do on the list has next? Can I EVER complete my bucket list? I am getting swept away into the daily chores, work, bills again? I think I need to re-plan my goals once more and remember to put my list on a wall or somewhere I CAN SEE this. Possibly on the door – Front door! This I am going to do today!

Step 1… leave list of things I would like to do (now and future, simple and complicated, no cost – or expensive)  – on the front door. My bucket list contains really silly things such as dancing in the park – to more complex going to Sidney, Australia. A reminder each day of the things I would like to do. From going to a local exhibition, going to France, Devon, buying a new teapot and so on! Remembering SMALL STEPS, as I realise I cannot afford everything in one go, but just want to make sure I don’t forget these dreams.

small steps

POEM…

I see the little memories of lands far distant now

Movement of days, DWELL DEEPER

They rise and fall as they lift my soul to happiness

turning forever to a point of realistic truth

EXCEPTANCE that I am not perfect,

healthy, or an idealistic version of comfort.

For what you see, IS A FORM OF PHOTOGRAPHS.

Lists of dreams,

Never forget those dreams you once had

The Laden Path

The Laden Path

Happiness
Imagine sitting here and the world standing still – just for YOU I took this photograph at the National Trust

Your beautiful quiet place
Breathtakingly beautiful and serene

This quiet place
I was composed
I was for one moment still
As I gathered all I could from sight
I tried to remember every tree
Every blade of grass

Every second of the dragonfly that flew past my hair
I am in sanctuary

I walked along a beautifully laden path, that reflected lights and scent form the spring flora, and fern. This beautiful place, listed in the National Trust, gave me solace and a chance to unwind, to breathe my thoughts and create some reflective writing. While sitting in a peaceful area, I noticed a building, small and round with a thatched roof. Beautiful and calm, I sat and wrote.
